The IM5 fastback measures approximately 4.93 m (16 ft 2 in) in length, making it longer than the Tesla Model 3 and rivaling larger models in terms of interior space. Its coupe-style profile flows into a practical 457 L (plus 18 L frunk) cargo area, cleverly concealed behind a sleek exterior. The drag-efficient body, combined with 19-inch aerodynamic wheels, contributes to a refined and efficient driving experience. The cabin exudes calm luxury, with large dual touchscreens and premium materials that belie its competitive pricing.
The IM5 offers three drivetrain variants, each delivering a different balance of range and performance. Each comes exceptionally well-equipped, featuring dual-screen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 20-speaker premium audio system, heated and ventilated leather-style seats, and the innovative Rainy Night Mode for enhanced visibility in adverse conditions. All trim levels include automated precision driving aids and four-wheel steering, combining superior safety with agile handling. Higher trims offer more power, sportier suspension tuning, and even air suspension on Performance versions.
