The Nio ET5 is a battery-powered compact executive sedan produced by the Chinese electric car company Nio.
The Nio ET5 offers two battery options:
75 kWh battery with a 456 km WLTP range
100 kWh battery with a 590 km WLTP range
The Nio ET5 is an All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) vehicle equipped with two electric motors: a 150 kW (201 hp) induction motor is in the front and a 210 kW (282 hp) permanent magnet motor is in the rear. The ET5 boasts a combined output of 480 hp (360 kW) and 700 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. Inside, the ET5 features a panoramic digital cockpit with AR and VR technology, invisible air vents, and 256-color ambient lights. A standard Dolby Atmos surround sound system enhances the in-car experience.
The ET5 is compatible with Nio's Power Swap Stations, allowing for a battery swap in just a few minutes. Like any other Nio EV, the Nio ET5 is available for purchase without the battery inside the car. It is now accessible in several European countries, as listed below

According to the manufacturer's data, at a DC charging station with a capacity of up to 140 kWh, the Nio ET5 Standard Range Edition charges in less than 30 minutes. For the Long Range Edition, it takes an additional 10 minutes to reach a full charge.
Your car needs to be in power-swap mode for the battery swap at the Nio swap station. The battery swap is fully automatic. According to the manufacturer, it takes just 3 minutes to swap the empty battery for a fully charged one without getting out of the car. The Nio swap station provides a health check on the battery and electric drive system during every swap, ensuring the optimal status of both the battery and the vehicle.
