Xpeng had a big month in October, delivering a record 23,917 vehicles—a nearly 20% bump from last year’s October numbers and a solid 12% increase over September. For the first 10 months of 2024, Xpeng’s total deliveries reached 122,478, marking a steady 20% rise from the same period last year. Since its start, the company has delivered over half a million vehicles, totaling 522,789. A major driver behind this growth is Xpeng’s latest model, the Xpeng Mona M03, which quickly became a favorite among customers.

Launched at the end of August, this compact electric sedan comes in three versions, starting at RMB 119,800 (about half the price of a Tesla Model 3). It’s now the most affordable option in Xpeng’s lineup, and it’s clearly catching on—October was the second month in a row the Mona M03 crossed the 10,000-unit mark. Xpeng saw a rush of interest right from the start, logging 30,000 firm orders for the Mona M03 within the first 48 hours after its debut at the Chengdu Motor Show. After a modest start with 517 deliveries in September, October numbers shot up to 10,023.

Xpeng’s New Model Introduced In Europe

On the international front, Xpeng introduced its sleek new P7+ sedan in Europe, kicking things off in Paris on October 14. Pre-sales began in China that same day, with a starting price of RMB 209,800. Within less than two hours of opening, the P7+ logged over 30,000 pre-orders. Analysts like Deutsche Bank’s Bin Wang expect monthly sales of the P7+ to settle between 5,000 and 7,000 units, which is right in line with the market’s expectations.
