The Xpeng G6 is an Ultra Smart Coupe SUV, the company's inaugural model based on its next-generation technology architecture, SEPA2.0. The SEPA 2.0 platform integrates technology such as an 800V electrical architecture that allows for DC rapid charging at rates of up to 480kW.
It is equipped with numerous high-tech solutions, such as XNGP (XPENG's full-scenario ADAS solution) and XPower (XPENG's 800V powertrain system and 800V high-voltage SiC platform), alongside cutting-edge front and rear integrated aluminum body die-casting and CIB (battery-body integration) technology.
The XPeng G6 is available in both single- and dual-motor versions:
Version | Range (WLTP) |
RWD Standard Range | 435 km |
RWD Long Range | 570 km |
AWD Performance | 550 km |
The single-motor version is based on a 66 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) battery with an expected range of up to 435 km for the Standard Range version, and up to 570 km for the Long Range version. It boasts a maximum power of 218 kW and a peak torque of 440 Nm. In contrast, the dual-motor version features a maximum power of 140 kW + 218 kW, a peak torque of 660 Nm, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds. Its 87.5 kWh ternary lithium-ion battery pack provides a WLTP cruising range of up to 550 km, with power consumption as low as 13.2 kWh per 100 km.
Founded in 2014, XPeng Motors is a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer with a strong focus on smart mobility. The company has rapidly gained recognition for its innovation in autonomous driving, intelligent in-car systems, and energy-efficient designs. While XPeng is relatively new to the European market, it has already made a name for itself in China as a leading EV brand, competing with established automakers like Tesla.
